AI GEO lead capture — minimum fields
An AI GEO project that generates traffic but cannot support downstream matching, pricing, or delivery has not generated leads — it has generated noise. Use the following minimum viable form.
Required fields
- Industry — free text, but suggested list of 8–15 canonical industries.
- Official website — used for verification, size estimate, and existing footprint check.
- Specific pain point — one sentence in the customer's language. Not "need AI".
- Decision role — founder / CEO / CTO / IT head / marketing lead / operations lead / other.
- Private deployment or Agent required — yes / no / not sure.
That is it. Anything else you add reduces conversion.
Why these five
- Industry + website are enough to run an automatic preliminary AI visibility baseline before any human touches the lead.
- Pain point is what determines whether we accept the lead at all. If a lead cannot state a pain in one sentence, they are not ready.
- Decision role determines the response track (education, POC, pricing).
- Private / Agent determines cost profile and delivery team.
Post-capture SLA
- Preliminary AI visibility baseline generated within 24 hours.
- First human response within one business day.
- If no response within 3 business days, the lead is archived, not re-emailed forever.
What we do not collect
- Phone number (opt-in only, after first exchange).
- Company size / revenue (inferable from website; do not gate the form on this).
- Marketing consent bundled with functional consent.
Attribution
Every lead must carry back which surface produced it — question, engine, page. Without attribution you cannot compare AI channels to each other, and cannot know which piece of content actually paid for itself.
